A FANTASTIC night of top class fashion, glitz and glamour has been planned
for this Friday night, October 1, as renowned knitwear designer Caroline Leahy
showcases her latest work at an intimate fashion show at Tralee’s Meadowlands
Hotel.
As well as reviewing the Causeway designer’s new looks for her column, Sunday Independent Fashion Editor, Constance Harris, will also act as styling advisor on the night, and with a theme of ‘rock chic meets elegant lady’ chosen for the event, guests can expect something a little funkier than usual from Caroline.
Hosted by VIP Magazine Editor, Emer O’Reilly Hyland, the glamorous show will feature models from the Celia Holman-Lee Agency, and there will also be a best-dressed lady competition on the night.
As well as viewing some of Caroline’s most unique designs, guests will also get a chance to see the brand new autumn/winter collections from McBees in Killarney and Bride’s of Glin, while Limerick and Ennis-based footwear specialists, Nozomi, will display their exclusive collections.
The show will also feature a special bridal segment, and to allow guests get a close-up look at exactly what’s on offer, Caroline has opted for a floor show rather than the traditional catwalk.
The event kicks off at 7.30pm with a champagne and truffles reception, during which Mary O’Donnell of Tralee’s Beauty an Fitness Matters will be offering free skin-care and make up advice, while also giving away some great ‘goodie bags.’
Renowned jewellery company, Somona from Ennis, will also be present on the night, offering you the chance to purchase some unique pieces from their beautiful Otazu range.
During the show, guests will be invited to take part in a raffle for some excellent prizes, the proceeds of which will go to the Chernobyl Children’s Fund Tralee and District.
As seating for this intimate show is limited, Caroline is urging those interested in attending to purchase their tickets as soon as possible.
Priced at €30 each, tickets are available from the Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee, McBees, Killarney, Bride’s of Glin and Beauty and Fitness Matters, Tralee.
If after viewing Caroline’s collection, you fancy purchasing some of her designs, why not avail of the special discounts being offered at her Causeway workshop from 11am to 8pm on Saturday.
