Knitwear

Wool is one of our big fashion success stories. Throughout the ages in this country wool has stood the test of time...

Although it was once synonymous with the aran sweater, the Irish woollen scene has gone through a re-invention over the last couple of decades and now plays a major role in the fashion industry. It maybe our most traditional material but there is nothing traditional about these clothes.

Elaine Curtis "Irish knitwear is developing and its now very fashion forward. It's really a part of fashion now no longer boxed in its traditional state but being included in a greater overall fashion context. Many designers are using knitwear as a staple in their collection every season"
